Bulgarian Association of Oxygen Ozone Therapy
The Bulgarian Association of Oxygen Ozone Therapy (BAOOT) is a professional association dedicated to the promotion of oxygen ozone therapy as a safe and effective treatment for a variety of medical conditions. BAOOT was founded in 2010 by a group of doctors and scientists who were interested in the potential benefits of oxygen ozone therapy.
BAOOT provides education and support to patients, practitioners, and the general public about oxygen ozone therapy. BAOOT also conducts research on the effectiveness of oxygen ozone therapy and advocates for the use of oxygen ozone therapy in the healthcare system.
The BAOOT is committed to providing patients with access to safe and effective medical treatments. Oxygen ozone therapy is a safe and effective treatment for a variety of conditions, and the BAOOT is dedicated to making this treatment available to as many people as possible in Bulgaria.

Our mission
Our mission is to promote the safe and effective use of ozone therapy for the prevention and treatment of disease. We are dedicated to the advancement of knowledge and understanding of ozone therapy in Bulgaria.
Specifically, our aim is to:
- Provide high-quality education and training on ozone therapy to practitioners, patients, and the general public.
- Conduct research on the efficacy and safety of ozone therapy.
- Promote the use of ozone therapy as a complementary or alternative therapy for a variety of conditions.
- Advocate for the rights of patients who are using ozone therapy.

To achieve the goals of the Association we carry out the following main activities:
Research
- scientific research activity in the field of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of various diseases by applying medical ozone and other modern methods and technologies;
Information
- scientific educational, informational, advertising and other activities for the promotion of ozone therapy;
Education
- organization of trainings, congresses, symposia and other similar events on the problems of medical science and treatment practices related to the application of ozone therapy;
- development and implementation of programs for optional and postgraduate study of ozone therapy for doctors of various medical specialties;
- support and training of members for continuous improvement of their professional knowledge and skills in the field of ozone therapy and facilitating access to knowledge;
Seminars, workshops, symposiums or congresses
- Members can attend seminars, workshops, symposiums or congresses organized by BAOOT. These events are a great way to learn new skills, network with other professionals, and stay up-to-date on the latest trends in the field.
Support
- preparation of proposals to the Ministry of Health, the Higher Medical Institutes and Universities and other institutions in the country, expert opinions on the problems related to the treatment of diseases in various branches of medicine through mono or concomitant ozone therapy with a view to reducing the level of morbidity and mortality;

Dr. Krasimir Shelev
Dr. Krasimir Shelev is an anesthesiologist, specialist in pain treatment with modern and alternative methods. He completed his medical education at the Medical Academy Dresden, Germany. He specializes in anesthesiology, intensive care and pain therapy at the University Hospitals in Dresden, Münster/Germany and Guildford/England. Opens own office in Gutersloh/Germany. In 2013, he continued his career at the University Hospital in Zurich/Switzerland. Since 2016 he has been practicing in his doctor's office in Kreuzlingen, on Lake Constance, Switzerland.
Dr. Krasimir Shelev has many years of experience as a coordinator, referent and consultant in the health sector around the world.

Mariana Nikolova
Mariana Nikolova is a business lady and entrepreneur in the field of private medicine over the last 30 years.
She is a founder, owner and manager of KORTEX Medical Centre in Sofia Bulgaria, which is an outpatient center for consultation, diagnosis and treatment of mainly neurological and psychiatric diseases with vast opportunities for physical rehabilitation therapy courses. Ozone know-how of the clinical center she manages exceeds already 15 years.
Mss. Nikolova is also one of the co-founders and sponsors of the Bulgarian Association of Oxygen Ozone Therapy.
Mariana Nikolova is an educated high-school physicist and has remarkable practical knowledge in marketing and public services as well.

Dr. Georgi Petreshkovski
Dr. Petreshkovski is a Neurologist and Neurophysiologist.
He graduated from Sofia Medical Academy in 2000 as a ”Doctor of Medicine“ degree and later in 2009 completed Neurology residency at the same University and got licensed Neurologist. He is additionally qualified in ”Clinical Neurophysiology” with a certificate for Electroencephalography (2010), Electromyography (2011) and Otoneurological Tests (2018).
Georgi Petreshkovski M.D. is also experienced in Neurovegetative tests performing. He has over 12-year clinical practice in different neurological diseases such as discal hernia, epilepsy, strokes, multiple sclerosis, headache, neuralgias, chronic pain, Parkinson's, etc.
Dr. Petreshkovski has been working with ozone medical methods for the last 10 years.
He is currently a Medical Manager of KORTEX Medical Centre in Sofia Bulgaria since 2011.

Dr. Radoslav Toshkov
Dr. Toshkov is a general practitioner who graduated from Medical University Sofia in 1997. For a short time, he worked as an intern in clinics for internal medicine, cardiology and psychiatry.
In 1998, Dr. Toshkov started a private practice as a holistic doctor. He has specialized in various areas of holistic and functional medicine, including iridology and phytotherapy.
Dr. Toshkov is the founder of the brand Herbamedica, which was established in 1994, when he was still a medical student. Herbamedica is a household name for high-quality dietary supplements that Dr. Toshkov uses in his clinical practice.
Dr. Toshkov is a specialist in the field of holistic and functional medicine. He is convinced that health is a state of overall well-being and that physical, mental and emotional health are closely related. Dr. Toshkov uses a holistic approach to the treatment of his patients, taking into account all aspects of their health.

Dr. Eduard Fadel
Dr. Fadel graduated from the Medical Academy in Sofia in 1993 with the degree "Doctor of Medicine". Until 1996, he was the representative of the pharmaceutical concern "BAYER" for Bulgaria in the field of medical equipment.
In 2013, he received a diploma in aesthetic medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. In 2015, he founded the American Center for Aesthetic Medicine in Sofia. In 2016, he finally returned to Bulgaria and worked as a doctor in his own clinic.
